Our community regularly co-ordinates social gatherings, parent education functions and fundraising events to help to foster the ‘warmth’ of the community. These can range from entertainers, to visiting lecturers, workshops and teacher talks – all with a flavour of the school philosophy. All members of the community are encouraged to participate and communicate with the school, it helps to ensure that the small things, which are important to the proper functioning of a community, are not overlooked. The ensures that the big picture is encompassed within the special character of our school.
Parent activities include Rosebud Playgroup, coffee mornings, craft groups and study groups, the Friday Market, the school shop (The Crafty Pukeko) and parent library.
Some of these events have been suspended due to restrictions – we hope to be able to re-instate them soon.
